Linear

Linear's hosted MCP server for issues and projects. A read-only URL is available when the agent should not write.

https://mcp.linear.app/mcp is the Streamable HTTP endpoint. https://mcp.linear.app/sse is only a deprecated fallback.

Interactive clients use OAuth. A bearer token or Linear API key also works for non-interactive setups. Point the URL at https://mcp.linear.app/mcp/readonly when the agent should look and not file or edit issues.

Client config shape varies. Cursor and Claude Desktop use mcpServers. VS Code often uses servers. The values above are the part that matters.
